The end of our Castillian journey was rather lackluster. Another cold, dreary day meant staying in and snoozing away after plates of store bought, home heated Paella and king prawns.

The weather forecast was accurate for once and the sun did indeed come out on Thursday! Thursday 10th April, that is. Yes, this post is looong overdue and I’m so sorry! I promise to be better with posting going forward. I know I’ve promised that before, but I really mean it.

Anywho, it was sunny and we were in Spain. There was only really one thing to do… we went to the beach.
San Javier has some of the clearest waters I’ve ever seen.
A vast expanse of emerald and turquoise hues, the ocean is so beautiful that local geniuses even put up railings with steps into the sea every few hundred yards, turning it into one massive natural swimming pool.
