Sake no Hana

My food adventure through London-town was almost over, but I had one final stop that I had been seriously looking forward to for weeks already. As soon as my friend posted a list of top places to eat sushi in London (yes, she works for BuzzFeed and has a blue tick on Twitter and real followers on Facebook – #claimtofame), I insisted we go to the one that instantly caught my eye: Sake no Hana.

The Japanese sister to its Cantonese counterpart, Hakkasan, which ended up being my favourite dim sum place in London (I had previously blogged about this but the post was among those lost by Servage), Sake no Hana also comes with a set menu that is terrific value for money. I was dead excited to try it.

This one, I had been determined to blog about properly.

So This SF Trip From September… [Napa Valley]

…It’s about time I finished writing about it methinks, don’t you? It’s February 2015 already and I’m still blogging about events that happened almost 5 months ago. Mega. Fail.

I was told that a trip in SF was not complete without a visit to Napa, the local valley of vineyards. We started off at Elyse Winery, where le boyf had a free tasting session for us courtesy of his friend with membership there.

The Sunglass Hut & The Golden Gate Bridge

Disclaimer: as far as I know The Sunglass Hut and Golden Gate Bridge have nothing to do with each other. We were just taking photos with our new sunglasses (brought from the Sunglass Hut, and there’s a story about them below) at the Golden Gate Bridge, hence the title. Apologies in advance for any confusion or disappointment, I hope it won’t stop you reading the post ;)

The next day was our last day together, so I took a half day off, and was whisked away to take selfies at the Golden Gate Bridge.
