In case you weren’t already aware, we Brits really like our tea. So much so, that we even named several meals after it. High Tea, Afternoon Tea, Cream Tea, ‘Tea’ as in dinner, or just, well, tea. The beverage, + some biscuits or whatnot. You get the idea.

So when one’s American boyfriend is in town, one takes him to experience a truly British endeavour: Afternoon Tea. Starting with a vast selection of teas, naturally.

Dim Sum. Shrimply Delicious!

Before I launch full-steam ahead with my dim sum pics, allow me a short intermission to rave about the most delicious pair of boots I have ever seen. The Sunglass Hut & The Golden Gate Bridge

Disclaimer: as far as I know The Sunglass Hut and Golden Gate Bridge have nothing to do with each other. We were just taking photos with our new sunglasses (brought from the Sunglass Hut, and there’s a story about them below) at the Golden Gate Bridge, hence the title. Apologies in advance for any confusion or disappointment, I hope it won’t stop you reading the post ;)

The next day was our last day together, so I took a half day off, and was whisked away to take selfies at the Golden Gate Bridge.

September Sun in Santa Barbara
