The Week in Fitness & Food
11/9 – Monday. Rest.
I wasn’t planning to rest today, but I guess I got distracted this morning and then the day kinda disappeared from there. I also haven’t slept enough for the past couple of days so I dunno, maybe I’ve been low energy. I’m not really feeling sore from yesterday’s workout, which is quite a win though :)
It looks like I’ve been eating at maintenance fairly easily lately, though I feel like I was sort of careful with my diet last week, so I am a bit surprised I haven’t lost any weight. However, my period is coming up and I have no doubt that I’ll be retaining extra water weight at least until next week, so we’ll see what happens after that.
I’ve been eating very happily and satisfactorily with my sushi, protein bars, wraps, burgers — oh that’s right I had Habit Burger twice last week okay no wonder no weight loss happened HA. Nevermind!

11/10 – Tuesday. Get Peachy Challenge Day 17 Completed 11:56.

I managed to get my workout done in the morning and… well, it was pretty tough to find the right equipment to be honest haha. I didn’t have a low bench so grabbed my squatty potty, before realising a) it was kinda slanted, and b) I had a small folding stool in the kitchen that would have worked well instead.
I started with 5lb dumbbells before dropping to 3lb ‘ankle weights’ before completing the first exercise weight-free. It was hard! I hadn’t expected that extra drop in distance would make so much of a difference.
I tried using my piano stool for the frog hypers for 1.5 sets but honestly it just wasn’t going to happen. It felt very uncomfortable and like I was going to fall off the stool all the time. I ended up just doing the rest of the exercise. Next time I’ll try adding some ankle weights methinks.
I am also small enough to fit on my couch sideways so I just used my sofa for the final exercise. It wasn’t very comfortable to use the sofa though but I guess it worked. I just did a quick cool down afterwards and added a few extra butt stretches.
Overall I don’t think it was that great for me today because the moves took some getting used to and a lot of fiddling with equipment happened. But at least I will know better for next time.

11/13 – Friday. Rest.
Haha looks like working out isn’t really happening this week, but there is a very good reason for that. I’ve been busy preparing for a court case that happened today for a stop sign violation. My various small groups and fellowships have all been praying for me.
I think I had a fairly solid case under the circumstances. It turns out, there wasn’t even a stop sign at the location I was cited for. In the end, the officer did not even show up so my case was dismissed :D But still, the preparation process was fairly draining and stressful mentally.
Praise God though! The case was dismissed, and I was free to go. Anyways because of this, I just haven’t exercised. Maybe I’ll aim to do a workout tomorrow but we’ll see how it goes.
Also, because we drove out for the court case, we decided to spend the night so I won’t be able to weigh myself tomorrow, so this week’s median weight will be more of an average median. I think that works out well anyway, because we went for a fairly large celebratory meal afterwards haha.
Also, my sleep data for the past few days is a mess. Usually if I don’t update or save it first thing in the morning it just self-destructs in a way. I haven’t updated my blog in the past few days so… yeah. Bye bye data.

It’s been a bit of a weird week. I haven’t slept very well and also barely exercised due to preparing for my court case on Friday. Thank God everything went well. Sunday I was thinking of exercising but we started playing Among Us with our church family and the day kind of just disappeared. Next week I’ll get back into exercising well again I hope!
